Based in the vibrant historic docks of Belfast, SGD is conveniently located near the worlds leading tourist distraction 'Titanic' Belfast.

Utilising the latest 3D CAD systems, SGD specialises in Dessault Systemes parametric modelling software 'SolidWorks'.

Working in tandem with CAD systems, SGD has the latest in prototyping technologies including a additive layering manufacturing 3D printer and a A3 laser cutter.

SGD invests in A5 laser cutting technology

Expanding on SGD's existing prototyping facilities, a new laser cutter has been aquired. Using the latest UV diode technology, the cutter is able to accurately cut through card, balsa, foam board and other various prototyping materials. Significantly reducing prototyping times in comparison to ALM.
